Sikkens Cetol BL Deck & Wood Cleaner

Surface Description: 1) Weathered timber prior to re-coating. 2) New timber that has been treated with Sikkens Cetol BL Tannin and Oil Remover.
Apply Cetol BL Deck & Wood Cleaner to surface to be treated. Work into the surface with an abrasive scrubbing pad or stiff bristle brush /broom. Leave to stand until no further lightening occurs, but no more than 15 minutes. If timber begins to dry out, lightly spray with water to re-wet the surface. Work manageable areas at a time to ensure the timber stays wet during the entire process. Wash off with plenty of water using a hose until the water runs clear. Allow the timber to thoroughly dry out – at least 3 days – before applying your chosen Sikkens finish.

Clean tools with water,

Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials (see Section 10) and food and drink. Store locked up. Separate from alkalis. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination. See Section 10 for incompatible materials before handling or use.
